Common questions
- Who does STCG work with?
- Steel manufacturers: building systems, cold rolled, hot rolled, and sheet metal. We work with plants and production teams. We don't sell finished buildings to end customers.
- What's the difference between Structural & Design and Operations & Plant?
- Structural & Design is the drawing and model side: design, detailing, and shop packages. Operations & Plant is the factory side: process, equipment, install, and training.
- Can we hire STCG for only one of those?
- Yes. Plenty of jobs are design-only or plant-only. Some need both.
- Which CAD and BIM software do you use?
- Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
- Which equipment vendors do you work with?
- We select and commission roll-forming lines from NKH and robot welding or handling cells from Cheneyuda. They manufacture the equipment. STCG matches it to the plant, writes the spec, installs it, and stays through start-up. We don't sell machines from a catalog.
- Is this a quote for a steel building?
- No. We consult for manufacturers. We don't sell buildings, frames, or material packages to people putting up a building.
